The Land Training Test & Reference Capability, part of the Army’s Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP), will help define the Army’s approach to future collective training and select a strategic partner to deliver an integrated, mobile and digitalised system. This will allow the British Army to train its soldiers wherever and whenever it needs to across the globe.
Envitia is an innovative data and technology consultancy, working with customers in the Ministry of Defence to solve some of their toughest data challenges and help them make better, faster, and more informed decisions.
At the heart of its services-led approach is Envitia’s Data Catalogue – the Data Discovery Platform (DDP). This open platform is based on open standards for discovery, management and analysis of information. Already used by customers such as the Ministry of Defence and the UK Hydrographic Office, it brings together internal and external silos of data sources to enable a single source of truth in a format that is easily searchable and available for analytics, AI/ML and other machine-to-machine applications. Customers can therefore find, use, and most importantly, re-use data simply and quickly.
Dr Sarah Cole, Account Director at Envitia said: “This programme builds on Envitia’s specialist work within the Ministry of Defence Training and Simulation domain. The Envitia team will work closely with the British Army and the BAE led delivery team in a collaborative and agile manner, reflecting an approach that represents the future of successful delivery across Defence.”
