Envitia attended the Defence Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E) Plugfest which was held on 1-2 June 2016, Fairfax, VA. The event provided an opportunity for vendors to collaborate and demonstrate technology interoperability to meet various sponsor challenges. Among these, Payton Oliveri and Robin Parrish, Envitia’s US Office staff, participated in the Navy’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS-N) Mashup Challenge, focused on showcasing how dozens of vendors could come together to solve Navy cloud analytics problems.
To recognize the participants and the degree to which they were able to demonstrate and contribute back to the DI2E framework, plaques with Gold Stars were awarded to participants and placed on stands. Gold Stars were awarded for aligning technology with DI2E capability visions, integrating with other vendors to solve problems, illustrating standards compliance or proposing additional standards for DI2E to encompass into their definitions, and for acknowledging cyber awareness constraints.
Envitia received recognition for all four objectives. On our booth table, we proudly displayed the four Gold Stars, as well as technology integration through Envitia’s GeoRegistry and Horizon with a video highlighting Envitia’s analytics and solutions experience on various programs.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to illustrate Envitia’s technology and expertise in this space, as well as to demonstrate our solutions and capabilities to US Navy personnel involved.
