Community has always been at the heart of what we do, which is why we’re proud to name Horsham Matters as our Charity of the Year. This partnership builds on several years of collaboration, during which we’ve had the privilege of supporting the charity in practical, hands-on ways that go beyond financial donations.

Horsham Matters plays a vital role in our local community by offering support to individuals and families facing hardship, isolation and crisis. From providing emergency food through their foodbank to running wellbeing initiatives and community programmes, the charity is a lifeline for many who need a safe space and practical help. Their work brings people together, reduces the burden on stretched public services and strengthens the social fabric of the Horsham District.

Over the years, our team has worked closely with Horsham Matters to help revamp their website, making it more accessible and effective in reaching those who need support. We’ve backed their essential foodbank services through regular donation drives, taken on fundraising challenges such as the Glass Walk to raise both funds and awareness and supported their work through corporate volunteering days that allow our team to give time and skills directly to the community. These activities have strengthened not only the charity’s impact, but also our own connection to the area we live and work in.

As Horsham Matters heads into its 20-year anniversary, Rob Blaker, Fundraising Manager – reflects on the value of working together to amplify impact:
