Envitia has been selected by Defence Digital to support the Defence Modelling and Simulation Office’s (DMSO) vision to maximise the exploitation of M&S investment through defence-wide technical coherence, promoting interoperability and reuse.

Envitia will collaborate with Defence Digital to implement Phase 1 of the Defence Simulation Centre Catalogue. The £1.1m contract is a crucial part of DMSO’s journey to provide a coherent framework of M&S enablers and resources, accessed through the Defence Simulation Centre (DSC), across the Defence enterprise and our allies.

At the heart of the programme is Envitia’s Data Catalog solution, the Data Discovery Platform. Specifically designed to maximise reuse and exploitation of modelling and simulation assets, by providing a comprehensive online catalogue, supporting the Defence Policy for Modelling and Simulation JSP 939.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Defence Digital and DMSO on this significant first step of their digital transformation journey. Envitia’s Data Discovery Platform will empower DMSO to unlock the potential of the Modelling and Simulation investment already made by Defence. This partnership reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, user-focused, data solutions that provide real value to end users.” said Dr Sarah Cole, Head of Sales, Envitia.

This contract represents a significant milestone for Envitia, further cementing our position as a leading provider of solutions and services to solve complex data challenges.
