This role will be based in our Horsham office four days a week. Reporting to the CTO/COO, this is an opportunity to shape and direct the future IT systems that we use as the business grows.
Essential Skills:
- 1st line support for our staff
- Maintain our Cyber Essentials Plus certification
- General in-office IT housekeeping maintenance
- Continuous improvement and effective change management of our IT Management processes
- Run day-to-day management of our IT service providers
- Image laptops for new starters
- Arrange hardware replacements
- User onboarding
- Supporting users both locally in the office and remotely
- Supporting our internal delivery teams with VM creation/environment setup
- Microsoft 365 configuration
- Produce a monthly report to Envitia’s Leadership Team
Desirable Skills:
- VMWare / HyperV creation and management
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
- VOIP (3CX / Teams) management
- Microsoft license optimisation
- Sharepoint administration
You will also have:
- Really great communication skills both in spoken and written English
- Know how to talk to both technical and non-technical people (and translate between both)
- A drive to maintain a high-performing, sustainable, and user-focused IT capability
- An understanding of the security needs of a business serving the government and defence industries
