MapLink Pro to continue to be deployed onto real-time intelligence systems by global security and aerospace giant

Lockheed Martin has renewed its software contract with Envitia for the continued use of MapLink Pro on the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS).

DCGS allows deployed forces throughout the world access to real-time actionable intelligence. This is a collective programme that joins together all operating environments where users have access to time-sensitive intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) data.

DCGS integrates multiple ISR sensors and systems across the world, draws intelligence data from various sources and then correlates that data into an integrated picture of the battlespace.

MapLink Pro is used to create the US Air Force’s GEOINT (geo intelligence) and SIGINT (signal intelligence) workstations by providing a mapping system capable of handling vast amounts of data without compromising on performance.

“Envitia is pleased to contribute to the success of such an important programme through the use of the latest MapLink Pro technology,” said Envitia CEO Nabil Lodey.

Envitia’s flagship product, MapLink Pro, is a suite of software development kits (SDKs) used by developers to build high-performance mapping applications across the globe.
