MapRite Features

  • Automated Data Cleansing Facilites -  MapRite will cleanse poorly digitised input data, including crossovers, spikes, duplicate edges and overlaps.

  • Assesment of Real World Change - It is possible to identify the impact of a new map data set on your asset base; MapRite will identify all those assets/objects affected by map data changes and optionally suggest changes with corresponding confidence levels.

  • Extensive Data Auditing Facilities for the Analysis of Results - MapRite provides a complete set of definitions of your asset data and its relationship to the chosen map data.  The software will use these definitions to calculate a measure of quality for any particular dataset, which can be used as part of an ongoing maintenance programme for live datasets.

  • Addition of Metadata to Analysed/Processed Data Sets - MapRite produces a large amount of associated metadata during the processing of the dataset.  Information can be stored locally with the dataset or as separate tables in a database or as XML export to standard specifications.

  • Quality Assurance - MapRite can be used for the validation of any manual digitisation process and its accuracy compared to previous versions or against underlying map data.  MapRite automatically compares pre and post PAI map tiles, identifying possible missing items or erroneously changed items such as those subjected to excessive generalisation.
