MapRite Capture Tool
Envitia’s Capture Tool option for MapRite, the market leading Spatial Data Management suite. This new facility provides an ingenious automated facility for the generation of property boundaries from an underlying OS MasterMap Topography Layer. The tool then continues to manage those assets as additional COU data is applied, providing critical impact analysis and suggesting rectified data holdings in sympathy with change.
The product ingests your latest mapping, and given a gazetteer address point seed, uses sophisticated map analysis and mathematical techniques to create boundary geometry from the underlying map.
In keeping with familiar MapRite methodology, results are color coded for easy assimilation of confidence levels. Individual confidence metrics are reported detailing any reasons for uncertainty. Where available, original confidence status flags, such as those available within LLPG, are employed from the originating address dataset and taken into account. Inaccurate address locations are consequently identified for further investigation and correction. A broad range of metrics are used for the derivation of confidence levels which are configurable by the user. Thematic display enables the user to further investigate reasons for lack of confidence, facilitating fast and easy resolution of any potential issues. Even properties of multiple addresses, such as flats, are identified and associated with a single reference in accordance with standard rules using the established MapRite parent/child analogy.
