The MapLink Pro mapping SDK provide high performance visualisation for situational awareness applications. MapLink Pro provides developer flexibility through a variety of capabilities, including Terrain Analysis, Geometry Editing, 3D and Web Services.
MapLink Pro provides flexible cross platform deployment: Available for Windows and Linux on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. The Linux mapping SDK’s are available on X11-based platforms including Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and embedded platforms such as VxWorks. MapLink Pro also includes support for Visual Studio 2010.
A wide range of digital data formats are supported: As well as vector and raster data, gridded information such as elevation data can also be used in the MapLink Pro mapping SDK. Data can be pre-processed for multi-source, multi-layered fast map rendering or imported directly from the raw data. Export to specific data formats is also possible.
MapLink Pro comes with high performance Data Preparation tools to organize and process your geospatial data into the mapping SDK.
MapLink Pro supports netcentric Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) through high performance open standards based web services.
MapLink Pro Version 5.4 has compliance with OpenGIS® WMS 1.1.1 and WMS 1.3.0.
Later versions implement the WMS standard.
The Downloads section provides resources to help you evaluate the MapLink Pro Developer Toolkit. There is a 30-day evaluation version of the mapping SDK for you to install and try. You can also download the MapLink Pro documentation as well as additional data sheets giving more in-depth information. To get an idea of the functionality and high performance that MapLink Pro offers, there are selection of situational awareness application demonstrations available.
