MapLink Pro

Built from the ground up to provide high performance and flexible components for the most demanding of geospatial systems, MapLink Pro provides an environment for rapid development whilst leaving the programr in complete control over their application.

With over a decade of development, MapLink Pro offers a large range of API’s; organized around Software Development Kits (SDKs).  The SDKs provide support for a variety of capabilities, including Terrain Analysis, Geometry Editing, 3D and Web Services.

MapLink Pro is cross-platform: as well as being available on Microsoft Windows a number of the SDKs are supported on X11-based platforms including Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and embedded platforms such as VxWorks.  

A wide range of digital data formats are supported: As well as vector and raster data, gridded information such as elevation data can also be used in MapLink Pro.  Data can be pre-processed for multi-source, multi-layered fast map rendering or imported directly from the raw data.  Export to specific data formats is also possible.
MapLink Pro comes with a number of Data Preparation tools to organize and process your geospatial data.

MapLink Pro supports Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) through a number of services. An OGC compliant MapLink Pro WMS (Web Map Service) is available to serve maps to clients and can be configured to display other sources of data.

The Downloads section provides a number of resources to help you evaluate the MapLink Pro Developer Toolkit.  There is a 30-day evaluation version of the development kit for you to install and try.  You can also download the MapLink Pro documentation as well as additional data sheets giving more in-depth information.  To get an idea of the functionality and performance that MapLink Pro offers, there are a number of demonstrations available.  On registering, you will be immediately emailed a password to give you full access to all downloads.
