Envitia launches MapLink Pro 6

Envitia is launching the next generation of MapLink Pro which moves the product forward significantly and enhances the Open Geospatial Consortium standards support.  This new release includes exciting new functionality bringing our customers enhanced capabilities while maintaining the high performance and unrivalled disparate data integration of all previous releases.  The new MapLink Pro includes comprehensive spatial database integration, a fully OGC compliant WFS client interface to complement the already accredited WMS, which has been shown to be of consistently best performance in recent benchmarking exercises.

Envitia is committed to offering high performance visualization with the very latest application integration capabilities to complement our Spatial Data Infrastructure solutions already deployed for key customers.  Major new features such as the spatial database integration and WFS client facilities serve to deliver effective geospatial intelligence to the user whether Browser or thick client based.  Further web services components have already been introduced into the MapLink suite, these include catalog/registry, feature portrayal, geocoding and gazetteer services, all complementary to the MapLink Pro developer kits.
