Envitia exhibiting MapLink Pro at ITEC Brussels

Envitia are pleased to be demonstrating the rich functionality of our MapLink Pro mapping toolkit at ITEC in May.  MapLink Pro powers over 5,000 systems worldwide and is deployed in many military training and simulation systems including the Harrier GR7, the Maritime Composite Training system and Indra’s EC135 simulator.

Envitia MapLink Pro integrates a wide variety of disparate data sets efficiently and with high performance, proving the ideal platform to build the dynamic 2D and 3D visualization required for training and simulation.  The comprehensive set of SDK’s provides optimised, flexible components for the manipulation and management of spatial data with sophisticated dynamic overlay capabilities for rapid and effective solutions.

Complementary to the MapLink Pro technology, Envitia delivers spatial data integration capabilities based upon open standards exploited within a spatial data infrastructure. This enables integration of geospatial data flexibly and rapidly from multiple sources in large volumes, often from legacy systems. Our standard reference model allows for the automated modelling and deployment of data.  Information is served dynamically, employing a networked architecture ensuring maximum re-use of expensively acquired information across multiple platforms. This capability is demonstrated through projects such as the UK MoD’s Geospatial Information Integration Reference Architecture (GI2RA). GI2RA will provide the UK MoD with the backbone infrastructure for sharing and exploiting its geospatial data.  GI2RA is shortly to be put to work at Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration 09.
